Welsh Morphological Analyzer
This was my final project for LING 4530, Finite State Linguistics, at the University of Georgia taught by Dr. John Hale.
The morphological analyzer can generate surface forms of Welsh verbs and nouns based on morphological representations, or morphological representations based on surface forms. It also uses diacritic flags to generate double marking of possession on nouns.
The analyzer uses the freely available foma tool. I have completed the analyzer for conjugating nineteen verbs in most of the commonly used inflected and periphrastic forms and for declining twenty nouns in their indefinite, definite, and possessed and singular and plural forms.
The analyzer is available in this git repository.
